Binance spot VIP status is mainly assessed from 30 day trading volume and BNB holdings. The standard spot fee starts at 0.1000% maker and 0.1000% taker for a regular account, while discounted BNB payment can reduce that starting rate to 0.07500% and 0.07500%.

VIP 3 requires at least 20,000,000 USD in 30 day volume and at least 250 BNB. The maker fee is 0.0400% and taker fee is 0.0600%. With BNB payment enabled, the reduced rates shown on the official fee page are 0.03000% and 0.04500%.

VIP 3 is the level where the maker rate becomes dramatically more competitive than the standard retail fee. For traders using passive limit orders, the savings accumulate much faster from this tier onward.
