Binance spot VIP status is mainly assessed from 30 day trading volume and BNB holdings. The standard spot fee starts at 0.1000% maker and 0.1000% taker for a regular account, while discounted BNB payment can reduce that starting rate to 0.07500% and 0.07500%.

Regular User pricing is the benchmark for the entire Binance spot fee schedule. Before any discount, maker and taker are both 0.1000%. When fees are paid in BNB, the displayed discounted spot fee is 0.07500% for maker and 0.07500% for taker.

Most comparison articles begin with higher tiers, but many searches are really about the baseline 0.1% number. This page exists to answer that question directly and to show how much room there is to improve through BNB savings and tier upgrades.
